I have a passion for working with my hands to make pots for everyday use that are well crafted and pleasurable to use. The majority of my work is thrown on a potter’s wheel, although I do some hand building.  Most of my pieces are made from stoneware clay but I occasionally use porcelain. With the exception of a few raku and saggar pieces, all my pots are food and dishwasher safe.

I began working in clay over 40 years ago and have been at the Harvard Ceramics Studio for more than 25 years.  During that time I continue to take classes and grow as a potter. I constantly try new forms and glazing techniques in order to challenge myself.
