Stained Glass

Christine became fascinated by the history of stained glass during her study of medieval

arts and culture, and a workshop taken years later cemented her love of the craft. She uses

the Ti?any foil technique, carefully wrapping cut and shaped glass in copper foil before

soldering it into suncatchers, boxes, and other decorative pieces.

Christine is especially drawn to stylized shapes and vibrant color that pair naturally with the

materials and process of stained glass. She loves the way it illuminates a window but also

enjoys making pieces to brighten up less-expected places: a tabletop, a candlescape, even

a potted plant.
