We seem to be finally heading into summer—blue skies, sunny days, warm temperatures. We hope to have more of these so we can start planning fun times like outdoor get-togethers with friends and barbecues.
Our June Artists of the Month can help you set a festive table. Lara Diaz makes ceramics that are mostly hand built with some hand-thrown pieces. Her main focus is hand painting pieces with her cute and cheery designs. Our newest member, Laurie Leuchtenburg, has been making ceramics for decades. She works in stoneware and porcelain using a variety of techniques including sgraffito and wax resist.
